How Google Works — Part 2
Monetization and What Goes on Behind the Scenes
This is the continuation of the “How Google Works” series and it will cover more factors that contribute to how Google works. While the first part focused on Google’s growth as a company, this 2nd part will focus on Google’s monetization, and all the different areas they get money from, along with everything that actually allows it to function on a daily basis, such as the data centers and employees.
How Google Makes Their Billions
Google’s Monetization
If you ignore the fact that Google is used by billions of people and is the most used website across the globe, it might not immediately be apparent how a search engine is able to generate revenue, considering that it doesn’t charge people to use it.
With that being said, Google has plenty of ways of making money, and I think it’s safe to say they won’t be in need of it any time soon. Some of the ways they make an income are through things like Google Ads, Google Adsense, Google Analytics, and Google Pay.
