So here I am back again with some more tech reading for your weekend. If you are in the UK it will be a long one. So no excuse for not getting in some tech reading. Here goes.

Watching Facebook in the world is as important as any country watching so this article from Guardian Tech is worth a moment “In Europe political attitudes to Facebook are changing” (18/05/17)

If perhaps like me you read to much on how robots are coming take the jobs then this article is a corrective. The article from the Economic Policy Institute is academic in substance but fairly readable. Here it is “The zombie robot argument lurches on” (24/05/17)

My home is not that smart when it comes to lighting. Maybe the time has come to get smart with this ArsTechnica piece “IKEA’s low-cost smart lights get Alexa, Google, and Siri voice support”

As we are on Medium I want to give a nod to this article in the New York Times featuring Ev Williams it’s called “The Internet Is Broken’: @ev Is Trying to Salvage It” (20/5/17)

It’s a but plain but I don’t mind the functional style of Amazon so this article satisfied my curiosity from TechCrunch “Here’s how Amazon’s Echo Show works” (09/05/17)
