Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro were unveiled in India on Thursday. The company’s most recent flagship smartphones are powered by the second-generation Tensor G2 SoC, a 4nm chipset with two Cortex-X1 cores, two Cortex-A76 cores, and four Cortex-A55 cores. The Pixel 7 Pro also has a triple camera setup with a 48-megapixel telephoto lens, while the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 both have 50-megapixel dual rear cameras. According to IP68 standards, both phones have a 10.8-megapixel selfie camera and are water and dust-resistant. Like other Pixel-branded smartphones, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will get five years of security updates.

This year, Google has introduced new camera features for the Pixel 7 series. One of these is support for the brand-new “Cinematic Blur” feature, which provides an eye-catching blur effect when recording videos on the Pixel 7. Users of the high-end Pixel 7 Pro will be able to take HDR+ pictures of objects that are up to 3 cm away using the “Macro Focus” feature. The ‘Photo Unblur’ feature of Google Photos, which uses machine learning to improve old or blurry photos, will be made available for the first time on both devices.

Price and availability of the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro in India

The Google Pixel 7 costs Rs. 59,999 as of right now. You can buy the colors Snow, Obsidian, and Lemongrass for your smartphone.

On the other hand, the Google Pixel 7 Pro is priced at Rs. 84,999. It will be offered in the hues Hazel, Obsidian, and Snow claim Google.

Both smartphones will be offered for sale on Flipkart in India on October 13. Several limited-time launch promotions have also been announced by Google, including a cashback of Rs. 6,000 on the Pixel 7 and Rs. 8,500 on the Pixel 7 Pro.

Specifications for the Google Pixel 7

The 6.32-inch full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixel) OLED display on the dual-SIM (Nano + eSIM), Android 13-powered Google Pixel 7 has a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is powered by an octa-core Tensor G2 SoC and eight gigabytes of RAM.

A 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens are both included in the Google Pixel 7’s dual rear camera setup. A 10.8-megapixel front-facing camera on the Google Pixel 7 is available for selfies and video calls. The new “Cinematic Blur” feature, which offers a dramatic blur effect, is supported when recording videos on the Pixel 7, the company claims.

Up to 256GB of internal storage is available on the Google Pixel 7. Among the connectivity options are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are just a few of the sensors that are built into the device. Additionally supported for biometric authentication is a face unlock feature and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Both wireless and quick wired charging is supported by the Pixel 7, and Google’s Extreme Battery Saver mode is said to increase battery life to up to 72 hours.

Specifications for the Google Pixel 7 Pro

The Google Pixel 7 Pro has the same Tensor G2 chipset and 12GB of RAM as the Google Pixel 7 model that runs Android 13. It features a larger 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and Quad-HD (3,120 x 1,440 pixels).

Similar to the Pixel 7, the Pixel 7 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with a remarkably wide-angle lens. It also features a 48-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical and 30x Super Resolution Zoom capabilities. It has a selfie camera with a 10.8-megapixel resolution. Users will be able to take close-up pictures of objects with the Pixel 7 Pro’s new “Macro Focus” feature, according to Google.

Internal storage on the recently released Google Pixel 7 Pro is expandable up to 256GB. Among the connectivity options are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
