Google Pixel Fold First Look Has Been Leaked

The Google Pixel Fold first picture has surfaced online. Project Passport, the codename for the rumored Google foldable, is scheduled to debut in May 2023. The alleged Pixel Fold renders show the device’s metal and glass body. Most notably, its enormous inner display appears to have bezels rather than a hole-punch or under-display camera. However, the cover display shows a selfie camera with a hole in it. According to reports, users can expect a “Pixel-esque performance” from this Google smartphone.

The Pixel Fold renders were purportedly leaked by Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech. The codename for this Google foldable phone is reported as “Project Passport,” but “Pixel Fold” is almost certainly going to be the final name. The phone is said to have a “very heavy” metal and glass body.

It is stated to offer “Pixel-esque performance,” though its specifics are still unknown. The Pixel Fold comes in shades of Chalk (white) and Obsidian (black). Google will reportedly charge $1,799 for this foldable phone, according to reports. According to rumors, the Pixel Fold will make its debut alongside the Pixel Tablet in May 2023.

The Pixel Fold reportedly has a large inner display with bezels but no under-display camera. It appears to have a selfie camera on the top right corner of the internal display. However, it is said that a centered hole-punch slot is provided for the cover display. Both of the front-facing cameras reportedly have 9.5-megapixel sensors.

This Google smartphone has an apparent triple rear camera setup hidden behind a protruding camera strip. Speakers are located on the Pixel Fold’s top and bottom. There may be a fingerprint sensor built into the power button, and a USB Type-C port is also rumored to be present.
