Competition drives “The New” : This statement is very apt for the smartphone market. Every other day a new phone is launched, every other month a new company enters the race with their brand new product.

Are we really getting something “NEW” : I say this because for a definite price range all the companies offers more or less the same features on their product.

So What’s new??!

If all of them are offering us the same specs in a specific price range then Why should we buy one over the other?

Just because of the brand name can’t be the answer . It would be lame to get iPhone X just because you like the new screen when you can get an essential phone with an identical screen for 500$ less. Just sayin…

Are our phones really getting smarter?

  • A big NO.

So what do i suggest… you ask?

All i ask is to make it more personal and smart.

How you ask?

Okay let me give you an example.

Suppose You are a student, a civil engineering student to be more precise in his 2nd year of study.

Now when You boot up the new smarter phone for the first time it asks for your profession .

You enter as an “student” , then it asks for your specific course and the year you are in.

After that it asks for your University’s name and automatically sets up your college calendar.

As you are a civil engineering student studying in 2nd year, it continuously recommends new videos to see, new articles to read, new websites to follow, new apps that can come in handy.

Coz you are a student it also recommends personal development and productivity stuffs.

You get the idea…Right?

Now all of us students love to watch sports, watch T.V series, listen to music and all those stuff ;)

It will also learn from our habits like if we keep changing our launchers and icons from time to time , It helps us with more lesser known launchers and icon packs.

It The “Smart” phone asks for our interests and adapts itself to our liking.

We can customize the phone accordingly like the time we study, the time we enjoy, the phone knows it all and works accordingly.

The company’s motto — YOU are the Phone.

Its like even if my friend and i own the same phone its completely different on the inside.

That my friend will be truly Smart and Personal.

It will make us feel special. Like it was specially made for us right?

I would love that ….Would you?
