Hey there folks! 🔥

Another week has flown by, and as always, I’ve stumbled upon some pretty amazing stuff. In an effort to share my discoveries with you, I’ve compiled a list of the most intriguing links I’ve encountered this week. From inspiring articles to helpful resources and thought-provoking pieces, there’s something for everyone, but for this week, it’s mostly AI tools again!

The AI space is K R A Z Y!

So, grab a beer/coffee/potion 🧪, find a cozy spot, and let’s dive in!

1. Unlimited Length ChatGPT Input? WHAAAAT 😯

Category: AI

AI tools like ChatGPT have a problem — they only allow a limited amount of input.
So, even if you want to analyze a whole book or a whole codebase at once, you can’t do that.

OR CAN YOU?

Researchers have developed an approach called Unlimiformer that enables AI tools to process an unlimited length of input. Imagine summarizing whole books or analyzing massive datasets with ease!

2. OpenAI’s New Baby: Text to 3D Models

OpenAI did it again! With DALL-E, we could generate and modify images with just text, but this one takes it a step further. Now, their latest tool, Shap-E (not to be confused with Shopee) allows you create 3D MODELS FROM TEXT.

This means you can generate game 3D models, for example, just by describing them — no expertise required!

It’s kinda amazing — and also scary to see that we’re actually able to do this now.

3. Could This Be The New Julia Killer?

35,000x faster? That’s not possible!
Well, the team at Modular wholeheartedly begs to differ.

Mojo is their new programming language for AI developers. It boasts the performance of C, compatibility with AI hardware, and a Python-like syntax.

This tool could democratize AI model creation even more.

4. You can LEGALLY use this Open Source LLM in your business!

Most powerful open source models (like LLaMA) aren’t available for commercial use, forcing us to rely on commercial models for our businesses.

Not anymore.

MPT-7B is a new, open source LLM that allows commercial use, making it perfect for self-hosting your own LLM for your business.

5. Automate your workflows with AI!

Every workplace has processes designed to accomplish specific goals. What if you could build an AI-assisted workflow?

UnionX lets you create a sequence of steps in your applications. For example, their demo notebook showcases how to create a complete marketing plan from uploaded PDF documents.
