Apple released its most awaited MacOS Mojave with the latest software upgrade packed with all new features and upgrades.

The new iOS is available right now and you can download via the Mac App Store. And, once installed, MacBook and iMac users will be treated to many new features like Stacks, Dark Mode, improved security and much more.

1. Enhanced Privacy for Your Mac

One of the hallmark and important features of Apple is its focus on user privacy. Following the lead of iOS, MacOS Mojave gets enhanced user privacy controls to request approval before apps can access your camera or microphone. Similarly, apps that wish to access Messages history or the Mail database will need user approval too.

If you regularly keep many tabs open in Safari, you can now enable website icons in tabs (often called “favicons”), which allows you to identify your open tabs at a glance. In Safari Preferences, go to Tabs and check “Show website icons in tabs.”

Do you want to add a little more personality to your emails? It’s easier than ever now in new MacOS Mojave. The Mail app includes a built-in Emoji picker. Simply open a compose window in Mail and you’ll find Emoji picker up in the right corner.

8. Continuity Camera will save you Time

You can now use your iPhone to shoot or scan a nearby object or document and have it automatically appear on your Mac. Just use the context menu (right-click) in Finder, Mail, Messages, Notes, Pages, Keynote, and Numbers to find a new option to take a Photo or Scan Document from your iPhone.

9. Extra Apple Apps come to the Mac

For the first time, popular iOS apps like News, Stocks, Voice Memos, and Home are now on your Mac with Mojave. With News, you will get all the news that matters to you in one app. You’re all favorite topics, channels, and saved stories stay sync between devices and you can enjoy reading articles, viewing accompanying images and video on your Mac.

10. Improved Safari Security

In MacOS Mojave, Safari now automatically suggests a strong, secure password whenever you create a new account. Even better, if you have reused passwords in the past, they’ll be flagged in Safari preferences > Passwords, so you can now quickly update them to strong passwords and protect yourself from website account breaches or hacking activities. Apple in Mojave gave developers a sneak peek under which it is bringing UIKit, the iOS development framework to MacOS. This will allow developers to easily port their iOS apps to MacOS.

17. Group FaceTime

Apple is introducing Group FaceTime with iOS 12 and the feature is also a part of MacOS Mojave. With Group FaceTime, you can now make a group video call up to 32 people. Even better, you can use Animoji, Memoji, stickers, and more in an ongoing FaceTime call.

18. Markup tools in more places

Mojave adds new Markup tools to Finder, Quick Look and screenshots, making it easier to sign a PDF or annotate a photo or screenshot.

19. SIX NEW ACCENT COLORS

Earlier Users are able to change between blue and graphite accent colours in macOS, but in Mojave, you’re able to choose between six additional colours. This setting influences the colour of UI accents like radio buttons, dropdown menu arrows and many more. To change the accent colour, go to System Preferences → General, and select your desired colour.

20. COMPLETE METADATA

In Finder when viewing files, you can now see all the associated metadata, you can also customize the specific metadata that you wish to see.

21. RECENT APPS

Earlier iPad users have been enjoying recent app functionality in the iOS dock since the release of iOS 11, and now Mac users get the recent app action in MacOS Mojave. You can now easily toggle recent app functionality by going to System Preferences → Dock and checking or unchecking recent applications in Dock.

22. ENHANCED SIRI REQUESTS

In MacOS Mojave, Siri gets more powerful features, such as being able to control HomeKit devices and even finding saved passwords.
