How to Submit to Techie Life

Would you like to contribute? Please read the submission guidelines below — instructions for being added as a contributor follow all of that.

Submission Guidelines

• We’ll consider anything tech related! Stories, guides, tech reviews, “how-to’s” are welcome. We also love a ”this tech helped me achieve this” or even a “what I did wrong” story.
• Please submit your work as a draft. This allows us publish at the optimal time. This gets you more views.
• Include a strong feature image. Credit the image appropriately, and please make sure you have the rights to use it. We recommend Unsplash and Pexels, but there are lots of places to get free Medium-friendly images.
• Please give your piece a non-clickbait headline, and include a subtitle that gives a little more detail.
• Make sure your writing is internet friendly. 4–8 minutes is an ideal read time range. Use short paragraphs with lots of white space. Medium readers tend to be scrollers and skimmers!
• We will generally respond to your submission within 3 days, but could take up to one week. We will leave a note on your submission once reviewed, to let you know when it will be published or why it has been rejected.
