My First Bug Bounties — $100 For Twenty Minutes of Work

I just thought I would share my first success with the whole Bug Bounty thing. To be honest it wasn’t as glorious as a lot of other people's first bounties are and unfortunately I won’t be able to share any personally identifiable information about the platform or the client because the ticket is still open.

But… I will say that I found a program that was concerned about their public reputation on Social media and for once they didn’t place phishing attacks as an out of scope attack vector.
