While our face-time may be lessening, our team spirit and motivation to build a world full of Digital Shapers remains undiminished. Here’s what we’ve been working on over the past weeks and what is keeping us busy while COVID-19 dominates the news.

Q1 2020: On to the News

Introducing Our New #codeathome Bootcamp

As most educational institutions are closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognize that both working remotely and learning virtually is more important than ever. That’s why we decided to design a pioneering purely remote learning journey. Starting this week, a total of 1000 participants from more than 80 countries around the world will learn Data Science, AI, Web Dev and UX Design at home!

Launch of Five More Locations

Having successfully launched TechLabs in Muenster, Copenhagen and Barcelona, we recently announced the opening of five new locations: Berlin, Aachen, Dortmund, Medellín and Curitiba. As our community is continuously growing, we have transformed into a global nonprofit organization — and we are delighted how our message is spreading worldwide.

Continuing to Drive Our Vision Forward

As Europe’s most successful learning accelerator for tech skills, we were nominated for the delina innovation award 2020. At LEARNTEC, Europe’s leading fair for digital education, we were ranked among the top 3 of 138 applications in the field of education and training.

Q2 2020: What’s to Come

Come and Join Us

In 2018, TechLabs was founded by a small group of people in Muenster, Germany. Now, our 129 volunteers around the world are hard at work to provide the best learning journey and make a lasting impact on the world of digital education. Increasingly, we benefit from a diverse team working on creating a world full of digital shapers. If you want to support the work we are doing, join us as a volunteer, mentor or partner: take a look at our career page or support us financially and help others to prepare for the challenges of tomorrow!

So, you have gained an insight into what you can expect from April 2020 onwards. We wish you and your loved ones the best during these difficult times. If you can, please stay at home and be safe! And most importantly: #codeathome.
