New Year, New Hires. Meet: Wibe, Marloes, Maurice and Pauline
Techleap.nl introduces Maurice van Tilburg, Wibe van de Vijver and Marloes Mantel as the Domain Directors of Techleap.nl, and Pauline van Tol as Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operations Officer. They will officially start working on 1 January 2020.
With the new Domain Directors and the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operations Officer, Techleap.nl is giving substance to its mission of empowering people to make the Netherlands the home for tomorrow’s leader in technology. Utilising the vast experience of these new hires to improve access to capital, market and talent.
Maurice, Wibe, Marloes and Pauline become part of the strategy team of Techleap.nl.
More about the ambitions and actions of the different Domains and Programs of Techleap.nl will be announced on 21st of January 2020 during the event Empowering Dutch leaders in Tech in the Louwman Museum in The Hague.
Maurice van Tilburg- Domain Director Access to Capital
Maurice van Tilburg leads the Access to Capital-Domain, looking at ways to increase available funding for Dutch scaleups. Maurice was CEO of Euronext Amsterdam between 2015 to 2019 where he, among others, looked at attracting tech companies to the Dutch market. Maurice also has held non-executive positions and advisory board positions for several startups.
Wibe van de Vijver- Domain Director Access to Markets
Wibe van de Vijver will be leading the Access to Markets-Domain. His focus will be on supporting Dutch scaleups to accelerate their growth through internationalization and improved access to corporates, government and knowledge. Born and raised in the Netherlands, Wibe started his career at Google, where he worked himself up from Account Manager in the European HQ in Dublin to become a Senior Strategist in the Global HQ in Silicon Valley. After working for Google, Wibe decided to join the Y-Combinator startup Impraise as their first key hire leading the Business Development team. Within this role, Wibe moved to New York to lead its expansion and build out the US business.
Marloes Mantel- Domain Director Access to Talent
As Director Talent, Marloes Mantel will make sure that scale-ups in the Netherlands have the tools and knowledge to recruit, retain and develop the best talent to grow and scale internationally. Marloes’ started her HR career at scaleup Ticketscript, where she was responsible for setting up and developing the HR and recruitment department. After a successful exit she joined San Francisco based Eventbrite to lead their European people operations.
Pauline van Tol- Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operations Officer
Pauline van Tol is the Chief Financial Officer of Techleap.nl. She has broad experience in management/financial functions in both offshore and knowledge institutions.
