Apple, in early September, introduced the new iPhone 14 (Pro) series, the 2nd generation AirPods Pro headphones, Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE 2, and Apple Watch Ultra. Thus, on the occasion of the traditional September keynote, we saw the unveiling of several new products from which Apple promised a further technological advances.

And rightly so.

The iPhone 14 Pro (Max) finally got rid of the long-criticized notch, the Apple Watch Series 8 was surprised with its body temperature sensor, and the Apple Watch Ultra was completely impressed with its focus on the most demanding conditions. But in the end, the little things make the whole. Of course, this is the same rule that applies to smartphones, watches and headphones.

And, as it has become clear, Apple is paying for the small imperfections this year, drawing attention that no tech giant wants. The arrival of this September’s news is marred by various mistakes.

Apple’s new releases suffer from several bugs

First and foremost, it’s worth mentioning that nothing is flawless, which also applies to smartphones and similar devices. Especially when a new product comes to market that hasn’t yet been tested extensively, but this year, there are far more such flaws than we could ever have expected. The worst is the iPhone 14 Pro (Max).

This phone suffers from uncontrollable vibration of the main camera when using it within social networking apps, a non-functioning AirDrop, significantly worse battery life, or slower performance of the native Camera app. There are also problems when transferring data or when first starting up.

It’s the transfer that can completely jam an iPhone. Apple Watch is not the best, either. In particular, some Apple Watch Series 8 and Ultra users complain of a non-functioning microphone. The microphone stops working after a while, causing apps that depend on it to throw out one error after another. In this case, for example, it is about measuring the noise around the user.

iPhone 14 Pro (Max) has a serious camera problem

You may encounter a serious problem with some social networking apps that can permanently damage your new phone. These are apps for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and certainly others. I encountered this problem while browsing through my Twitter feed, where Luke Miani pointed it out.

These are probably just software issues, but I would be careful about using the camera in the apps mentioned before fixing them.

How Apple addresses these shortcomings

The great news is that software updates can resolve all the bugs mentioned. That’s why the iOS 16.0.2 operating system is available now and aims to address most of the issues mentioned. However, there is a far worse scenario. If Apple were to release phones on the market with malfunctioning components, it would face massive criticism, but more importantly, it would have to spend a huge amount of money on a total solution.

As we mentioned above, the arrival of new products is traditionally accompanied by minor bugs. This year, unfortunately, it goes one step further. There are far more problems than before, which opens up a serious debate among Apple fans about where the giant went wrong and how it could have happened in the first place. The Cupertino giant most likely underestimated testing. In the final analysis, no other reason is offered.

Given the overall number of shortcomings, it is also possible that Apple was not prepared enough for the unveiling or launch, resulting in a lack of time for proper and conscientious testing. So now we can only hope to eliminate all the bugs as soon as possible and avoid such situations.
