Meta Quest Pro Might Not Be as Bad as You Think… for Its Target Audience

What might seem like an error in judgment might just be a novelty that arrived too early

As someone who owns a VR headset, I can understand why many people react in a negative way to Meta’s latest VR-related announcement. After all, Quest 2 is mostly used for entertainment, even when it has its use outside of this segment.

I have seen it used by architectural studios, in some rehabilitation treatments, or as means to show people with mobility issues what something looks like. There are plenty of 360° drone footage videos that can allow you to see the world from a new perspective. After all, it is cheaper to buy a $500 VR headset than to rent a helicopter and see the places for yourself.

So, why are you the wrong target audience for Meta Quest Pro VR?

Technology used

I will skip the quality of materials, screens, CPU used, etc. Overall, these specs are not that relevant to the point I am trying to make. In case you want to learn more about that, check out my friend’s article about it.
