The Japanese international corporation Sony Corporation probably does not need any lengthy introduction. Since its founding in 1946, it has penetrated most consumer electronics industries and occupied the top ranks.

Everyone can encounter its products at almost every turn — from mobile phones to TVs, games consoles, multimedia to audio equipment. In the latter, it produces players, amplifiers, speakers, and headphones.

And it’s their latest in the headphone range that we’ll be looking at today. Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you the WH-1000X M3.

Sound expression

Right off the bat, I have to say that the third-generation WH-1000X headphones have a really clear and powerful sound, even when used wirelessly. Yes, this series is designed primarily as a wireless device, and a lot of effort has gone into optimizing it.

The naysayers might argue that cable is a good old classic and wifi transmission will never match it. And they would, of course, be right (so far). However, Sony, as a leading player, is still working on improvements.
