Angola-based health tech startup, Appy, is pitching at this year’s Web Summit’s startup competition PITCH, holding this week in Lisbon, Portugal, making it the only African startup to do so.

Founded in 2015, the startup which allows users to book appointments, order medicines and subscribe to health insurances, joins 134 other startups from around the world shortlisted from 900 applications at this year’s startup competition.

The startup competition brings together the world’s leading early-stage startups for a live on-stage battle.
