Fleek.bio — organise items on social media and sell in one place

If you sell items on social media from fashion to health care products, but find it difficult to organise them in one place, take orders and measure what your customers like to buy, a new service called Fleek.bio is launching soon to make sales easy and fun.

Fleek.bio describes itself as a cool and easy way to set-up an automatic website for things you’re selling on Instagram, Facebook or any other social media platform.

Once you sign up to Fleek.bio (not sure why that name, though), you can start adding items of what you’re selling with pictures, quantity, price, etc and you can easily edit them whenever you want.

From the dashboard, you also get to see what your business’ automatic website looks like as you add or edit items on the page. When customers visit your automatically-generated website, they can select items, place their orders and you can contact them for delivery.

For now, email notifications for the orders will be received by the seller and the customer, with SMS notifications coming soon, perhaps on the launch date scheduled for April 10.

The web app — which works seamlessly on mobile — seems pretty fast and works almost instantly, although this may be because it’s a new app that doesn’t have much content or it could be because the technology and the design behind it is both intuitive and minimalist. It also doesn’t seem to have any bugs.

I think it’s a really cool app to sell items and manage orders in one place, instead of switching from one social media platform to another to sell items. It also solves the problem of responding to questions/comments and to direct messages on Instagram, Facebook, etc about a particular item, its price, etc. which can be stressful and waste a lot of time.

However, the app doesn’t provide enough details about the items for sale as well as reviews/ratings from other buyers.

It would be interesting to see an integration with Instagram, Facebook, etc so that it could recommend items based on my interests or perhaps what my friends on social media have purchased before.
