U.S-based data communications and telecommunications equipment provider, Motorola Solutions is bringing its new video solutions to Africa to support mission-critical communications.

The company, which will be showcasing some of this technology at this year’s AfricaCom conference in Cape Town, South Africa, says the technology such as smart video cameras with analytics to help fight crime, could be used by emergency or disaster response services.

AfricaCom will gather over 15,000 attendees, 450 speakers and 500 exhibitors to discuss telecoms, connectivity infrastructure, disruptive technologies, and digital services.
