No country in the world is completely safe to live in, but there are still places where people can enjoy relative safety — even in Africa. In the latest Global Law and Order Index by Gallup, Singapore, which tops the list nearly every year, was ranked 97, making it the world’s safest place to live in, while Afghanistan with the lowest score of 38, was ranked as the most dangerous place to live in 2019.
