Over the past 45 years since Thermocool entered into the Nigerian market, the brand has been known for its range of quality electrical appliances that give consumers comfort and peace of mind.

Yesterday, as part of its efforts to protect the environment, help in cutting down on power consumption and save its Nigerian consumers some money on electricity bills, Coolworld Retail Store introduced a new range of Haier Thermocool refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners at its flagship store in Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to the company, the new Haier Thermocool ranges of Energy Saving refrigerators and freezers can save up to 40 per cent on energy consumption while the Energy Saving Inverter DC technology Air Conditioner, aptly named GENPAL, can save up to 60 per cent on energy consumption.

No doubt, the desire to minimize electricity bills or fuel costs and save money as well as maintain a comfortable lifestyle should be a priority whether you’re a young, trendy, corporate executive or a busy working mother.

“This is why we decided to take ownership of this energy saving conversation by championing the provision of quality energy saving home appliances on all models of our Fridges and Freezers and the new GENPAL; to give everyone greater peace of mind, irrespective of the size purchased,” says Mrs. Bukola Bandele, the Marketing Director of HPZ Ltd. during the launch event.

Bandele told invited guests at the launch event that the new products were made with improved globally-accepted and environmentally friendly refrigerants, with at least 40% of global refrigeration now employing environmentally friendly refrigerants and as such the company was delighted to be the leading organization to employ this technology that reduces our carbon footprint by 97%.
