These are the Seedstars Startup Pitch events in Africa this September

Each month, Seedstars holds a startup pitch event in several cities across the world, with the best startups from each city invited to pitch in front of an investment panel and compete to be crowned the most promising seed-stage startup.

The winning startup will then join the global Seedstars Family and take part in the regional and global Seedstars Summits to compete for the title of Seedstars Global Winner, with up to $1 million in equity investment at stake.

This September, we feature the events taking place in African cities and would be providing updates as soon as we get them.

Seedstars Dakar

Seedstars Dakar held on September 7 with payments startup, Sudpay emerging winner of the 2018 edition of the Seedstars Dakar pitch competition for its solution Townpay, which enables municipalities to collect more revenue by digitising the collection of local taxes.

Seedstars Kinshasa

For the second time, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will host a Seedstars startup pitch event on September 21, where the 10 best startups from the DRC will be invited to pitch in front of an investment panel and compete to be crowned the most promising seed-stage startup of Seedstars Kinshasa 2018.

Seedstars Guinea-Bissau

On September 29, the 10 best startups from Guinea-Bissau will be invited to pitch in front of an investment panel for the first time and compete to be crowned the most promising seed-stage startup of Seedstars Bissau 2018.

Seedstars Maputo

Seedstars is coming back to Maputo, the capital of Mozambique on September 28 to find the best startups from Maputo that will pitch in front of an investment panel and compete to be crowned the most promising seed-stage startup of Seedstars Maputo 2018.

Earlier, Seedstars held events in Harare, Zimbabwe with Rera.farm as winner; Accra, Ghana with Cowtribe as winner; Kigali, Rwanda with Benefactors as winner; and Kampala, Uganda with Agro Supply as winner.
