Wennovation Hub announces Wennokick, its first incubation cohort for Agribusinesses
Nigeria-based innovation accelerator, Wennovation Hub has announced its first cohort for Agribusinesses in order to support the growth of the Agribusiness ecosystem in Nigeria.
Prior to this, the incubator, through its Agritech Initiative, has helped to inspire and support innovative solutions to resilient challenges in Agriculture in West Africa leveraging information technology.
Through the 6-week AgriTech Incubation programme, the incubator will attempt to help entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs to scale their ideas to a market-fit product. It will also help them quickly test and validate their ideas using integrated business tools while supporting them to gain access to funding, mentoring and business advisory.
This Incubation programme, which is in partnership with LoftyInc Capital Management and AFEX will offer access to $15,000 for 3 peer-selected startups, unrestricted access to fully serviced workspace, developer toolkit and licenses worth up to $10,000, access to local and international networks, 6 months mentorship with 1–1 mentor-mentee pairing and access to market.
