Techloy is pivoting into a data-driven platform
Focused on producing infographics and charts visualising the news stories that matter, Techloy wants to help you make sense of the data and make better decisions.
Techloy.com, the 10 year-old technology blog which has built a reputation as the best site covering the African tech scene, is now on the verge of becoming a full-fledged data-driven technology media and research company providing reliable news and insights about Africa.
Since June 2017, Techloy moved to the Medium platform, due to constant issues around hosting, payments and security threats.
“We are bloggers and just want to focus on writing daily about the stories that matter and the startups that make things happen, rather than handle server and security issues on a daily basis.” — Loy Okezie, June 2017.
The move, at the time, was temporary, while we re-strategise our content direction for the future of media, by changing our style of telling news stories, and the way brands can engage with digital audiences in Africa.
Since January 2020, Techloy’s forward-thinking approach as an industry publication has seen it evolved from a tech blog to a data-focused content publication providing deeper insights into news stories that matter around politics, economy, sports, technology, business, entertainment and more with an international focus on Africa.
As a Data-as-a-Service platform, we design and publish infographics that highlight the most important news stories about Africa, especially its biggest markets in charts, helping you understand topics and trends using data, and make better and informed decisions.
For startups and companies looking to engage with Techloy in producing customised content marketing for their brand and products in the form of infographics and charts, customised data analysis and intelligence, and other customised products and services, we invite you to have a look at our offerings and reach out via email to discuss details.
Founded in 2008, Techloy is based in Lagos, Nigeria and is independently owned and operated with the pioneering spirit of a start-up and with news editors, graphic designers and data journalists working remotely from various locations.
