World Bank’s global lending reached $63 billion in 2019 — How much did Africa get?
According to the World Bank’s annual report for 2019, the financial institution spent $63 billion in global lending for loans, grants, equity investments, and guarantees to partner countries and private businesses for multi-regional and global projects in 2019. In this Techloy chart, we present the approved lending per region, which shows Sub-Saharan Africa receiving $18.4 billion from the financial institution.
