Amazon Go | A pure Artificial Intelligence Grocery Store

Last year Amazon has launched a pure artificial intelligence based grocery store named Amazon Go. Now there is no need for cashiers and checkouts at the store. They are using special technologies to confirm your purchase. Amazon calls this group of tools it’s Just Walk Out Technology, and it includes technologies such as “computer vision, sensor fusion, and deep learning,” according to its website.

How Amazon Go Works?

The working of Amazon Go is based on automation and artificial intelligence. The users simply visit the store, shop for the items they need and leave the store. Just Walk Out Technology detects which items you have picked and the amount of that item gets deducted from your Amazon account automatically after leaving the store.

Our roughly 1,800 square feet of retail space is conveniently compact so busy customers can get in and out fast. In addition to regular grocery items, the store also carries ready-to-eat meals and snacks and newly-introduced Amazon Meal Kits, the website said, which includes everything you need to make a meal at home.
