Reliance Jio offering free 10GB data add-on to select subscribers

Indian telecom giant Reliance Jio is offering 10GB free data add-on to select customers. This free 10Gb data add-on is a token of appreciation for using Jio TV App. Jio TV app is a live TV streaming app which has more than 550 live channels. Reliance Jio has also launched the web version of Jio TV and Jio Cinema.

Recently the Jio TV app has won the ‘Best Mobile Video Content’ in-app category at the Global Mobile (GloMo) Awards 2018 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. At MWC 2018 Cisco has also won the “Best Mobile Operator Service for Consumers” award at the Global Mobile (GloMo) Awards 2018.

As per the MyJio app, the free 10GB data add-on will expire on 27th March 2018. Users can check the free 10GB data add-on from the official MyJio app. Simply open MyJio app and tap on “My Plans” to see whether you have got the free data add-on or not.

How to avail Reliance Jio free 10GB data add-on

The extra free 10GB data add-on is not for all customers. It will be added automatically and there is no way to get this offer by requesting to customer care or visiting nearest Reliance Jio store. However, some users have reported that they have got the free 10Gb data add-on by contacting the customer care on toll-free number 1299.

The additional 10GB data add-on will only be used when your daily limit of 1.5 GB/day or higher is breached. For instance, if you have subscribed to Rs 399 pack which is offering 1.5 GB/day. Now when you have crossed your daily limit of 1.5 GB/day then only your 10 GB free data add-on will start automatically.
