Consumer wellness is one of the world's most multi-dimensional industries. It consists of products and solutions that ebb & flow in and out of our lives on a minute-by-minute basis. How we sleep, how we eat, how we live, work, and play. It defines our relationship to nature, our community, each other, ourselves, and our souls.

Physical well-being and mental well-being, are the ultimate yin, and yang.

It's the definition of balance in its finest form. The importance of these two concepts transcends all. The foundation upon which our lives are built.

The past two years have had lasting impacts. The challenges we’ve collectively faced, the resiliency discovered, and the shifts we embraced not only impacted each of us personally, but it impacted long-standing systems and industries, for the worst…and then maybe for the better. In March 2020, think of all of the businesses and entire industries that felt obliterated…overnight. Shut down, shut-in, everything built, worked towards, calibrated against seemingly upended.

But, we adapted.

We stopped moving and we started moving all at the same time.

Gyms closed. We moved (our fit fams into our homes).

Sporting events stopped. We moved (to livestreaming).

Vacations got canceled. We moved (to the great outdoors).

In-person therapy paused. We moved (to text & telehealth).

The ecosystem’s balance was disrupted. Then, consumer behavior changed. Corporate behavior changed. An industry-wide shift happened.

And, the ecosystem rebalances.

It begins to thrive. So, let us celebrate!

Welcome to rethink:FIT, an event hosted by TechNexus Venture Collaborative. A celebration of the resiliency within the recreation & wellness venture ecosystem.
