African American entrepreneurs have a long and impressive history of starting businesses and making a difference in their communities. Despite facing obstacles and discrimination, these entrepreneurs have managed to thrive and create successful businesses.

In this post, we’ll take a look at some of the most successful African American entrepreneurs, and learn about their inspiring stories. We’ll also explore what makes them unique as business owners, and hear quotes for aspiring entrepreneurs. So if you’re looking for inspiration, you’ve come to the right place!

One of the most successful African American entrepreneurs is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

He was a Baptist minister and civil rights activist who led the African American Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s and 1960s. After his assassination, his wife Coretta Scott King took over as president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, which she had helped to found and she continued where he left off.

She too was a great motivator, speaker and had a beautiful voice that she would use to sing at her rallies. She was also a major advocate for African American entrepreneurship and helped to create the King Center, which offers training and support to African American entrepreneurs.

Another impressive African American entrepreneur is Oprah Winfrey.

She’s a television host, actress, producer, and philanthropist who has achieved great success in her career. In 1986, she became the first black woman billionaire in history. She started as a TV news anchor and host at WLAC-TV, but quickly rose to stardom with her talk show “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

She then created her own production company called Harpo Productions, which has produced several television shows including Dr. Phil and Super Soul Sunday on OWN Network (which she also owns).

Throughout her career, Oprah has been a vocal advocate for African American entrepreneurs and has used her platform to promote their businesses.

Some other inspiring African American entrepreneurs have made a difference in their communities. Here are just a few:

-Reginald F. Lewis, the first African American to head a Fortune 500 company

-Robert L. Johnson, the founder of Black Entertainment Television (BET)

-John H. Johnson, the publisher of Ebony and Jet magazines

So what makes African American entrepreneurs unique?

Several factors contribute to their success, but one of the main reasons is their resilience in the face of adversity. African American entrepreneurs have had to overcome many obstacles and challenges throughout history, from discrimination and racism to lack of access to capital and resources.

This has made them stronger and more determined than ever to succeed! If you are an aspiring African American Entrepreneur, then take this motivation from the others before you and become one of the most successful African American entrepreneurs today!

I’ve included quotes from each person so that you can get started on your journey to success right now!

Remember: anything is possible if you put your mind to it!

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“My story is a freedom song from within my soul. It is a guide to discovery, a vision of how even the worst pain and heartaches can be channeled into human monuments, impenetrable and everlasting.” -Coretta Scott King.

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough. The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.” — Oprah Winfrey.

“Keep going, no matter what.” — Reginald F. Lewis: Lawyer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, Chairman, CEO.”

“The world is run by those who show up.” — Robert L Johnson.

“Failure is a word I simply don’t accept.” — John H Johnson.
