You don’t need to sell your soul to make a living as a writer. There is a proper way through which you can create a writing business. People unnecessarily make it complicated.

Indeed, professional writing is an excellent way to make money and live like a rock star. I’m not selling you any dream in this story.

Let me break the ice by letting you know how you can do it and how I’m pursuing writing as a full-time career.

The first thing is that you don’t need a professional degree to make money from writing. The second thing is that the only thing that matters is your intellect about your writing niche and how desperate you are to succeed in your writing journey.

The easiest way to make money as a writer is to write for others.

You can be a freelance writer, copywriter, or ghostwriter. It is a terrific way to earn money as a writer. Most writers who want to earn quick money choose this way to move forward in their writing journey.

Visit some freelancing websites like Fiverr and Upwork to register as a writing service provider. In the beginning, keep your service rates reasonable. To attract a client, you’ll require a strong portfolio.

LinkedIn and X are the best social media platforms to consistently start posting your content and driving prospects to your business.

It is called an active money business model, which means as long as you keep writing for others money will keep rolling in your bank account.

By adding more writers to your team, you can expand your business and operate like an agency. The best way to grow in this business model is to work with your previous clients because they are easy to convince and you can comfortably negotiate with them.

There is another perspective of this business model, which sometimes makes it saturated.
