Yelawolf×Caskey, Hardest Rappers to come after Eminem?
Burden vs. Caskey
Burden and Caskey both come out of Florida, and both have had some success in the recent past. Caskey having obtained the Cash Money Co-Sign, has been on the radar of fans for a handful of years. Burden has just found the path towards what undoubtedly will brandish him profitable, if not a force in his lane.
I consider these two rappers to be on seperate paths,one going down the more traditionally paved road of a hip hop artist,the other a self proclaimed political rapper that may very well, find himself following in the footsteps of the success of Tom McDonald,a politically charged white rapper that’s blowing up the charts.
When the two come to clash in a head to head, full speed, game of chicken, who panics first and veers off into the land of the rapper who has taken an “L”? Taking a loss in the rap scene can undoubtedly turn fans away or put a stain on a career no matter how successful the music afterwards. One specific example would be, Meek Mill and his being unable to put to rest the beat down Drake pummeled him with. Taking a defeat in the white rapper scene I believe could be more damaging, with fans being more cult like in there embracing of artists. This, if my intuition comes to be prophetic, could be a fight that results in a career ending death!
