I’m embarrassed how bad my writing used to be.

I thought great ideas were enough. But I struggled to hold onto readers. I hated feeling invisible. But I was determined to make my writing compelling. So I studied how the best wrote. And bought their courses. And realised I was making a ton of mistakes

I’ve found there’s a way to craft articles that hold the reader’s attention. Once people started reading my stuff (rather than clicking on it for 10 seconds). My comments exploded. And my growth took off. Having readers engage with my writing was energizing and exciting.

Use these 5 steps to hang on to your readers:

1. Create a click-worthy headline

Let’s get clear on the goal of your headline.

It isn’t to get clicks. It’s to get the right people to click. Lull the wrong person in and they’ll disappear after 10 seconds. This ruins your reputation.

The right people are those you can help. So you need a clear headline. That answers 3 questions:

  • Problem (what is this about?)
  • Person (who is this for?)
