If Stephen King Told You Your Writing Sucks, Would You Keep Writing?

Whose opinion matters?

I think I am one of the few people who have not read Stephen King’s book, On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft. I have given it as a gift, but I have never read it. I’ve heard that it’s a good read, though.

There are two reasons that I haven’t read it.
