If you are an entrepreneur, this is the only one advice you should take.

We grew following instructions and others’ paths. If you want to eat that awesome grandma’s pie, there is no other way that follows her recipe, it is nonsense to change it. We use Waze to go anywhere because it is logical to follow the “best-known path”. We build houses with engineering standards, best materials, and software designed structure models.

Starting a company is a big deal and finding the best way to achieve success takes a lot of time and effort and you may give up before it happens. You will find a lot of advice from your family, friends, Google, and books. But which advice should you follow to make it? I think all of them, and at the same time, none. Let me explain.

The combination of who you are, what your ideas are, and how you want to make them real is a powerful and unique combination. How many people do you know that went to your school, met the same friends, practiced the same sports, read the same books and went to the same University? No one. It is not possible. Your parents, grandparents, uncles, and neighbors’ advice influenced who you are and your mental structure.

So, it is clear that nobody was where you are now, then, you have to make your own path. However…
