What are the ingredients that make a story glue your eyes?

  • The story?
  • The writing style?
  • The author’s name?

I spent a while reading a lot of science-based storytelling theories.

You don’t need to waste your time like I did, because I’ll pack it all for you in just 2 minutes.

Here are the 3 ingredients that make your story spicy:

  • K: Knowledge
  • F: Flaw
  • C: Conflict

Let’s dive into the KFC formula.

1. K: Knowledge

Most people think only nonfiction can provide knowledge.

No, you’re wrong.

  • Fiction: gives knowledge by showing how the protagonist transforms.
  • Nonfiction: gives knowledge by showing how to make readers transform.

Overall, you need to provide some information to make readers feel a sense of transformation.

But not just any kind of writing can do that.
