Procrastination

It’s 1 a.m. and you’re on the verge of sleep, blinking blearily at the glowing screen in front of you. The blank page stares back, with no sign of the brilliant idea you had — you know, the one that has mysteriously slipped out of your mind. You’re in the vice-like grip of procrastination, the arch-nemesis of every author since, well, we started writing so many moons ago. I know it all too well, but I know how to beat it too. It’s how I wrote over twenty bestselling books in the last ten years.

It pays to get friendly with the enemy. I’ve done my research. It states that procrastination a psychological response to feeling overwhelmed, uninspired, or unsure about the task at hand.
