Standing Tall Through the Storm

The Storm Rages On

The winds howl loud, the rain beats down
Threatening to drown all hope in town
The storm it rages fierce and strong
Testing resolve all night long

Yet morning light it will soon break
The clouds will part, blue sky awake
Though battered, bruised, hearts still beat on
Resilient souls, they carry on

With hope and strength they start anew
To rebuild all the storm blew through
With patience, care, compassion and love
Rising together high above

Though storms may come, try as they might
Resilient hearts stand tall to fight
Weathering all that comes their way
Moving forward day by day.
