This is a well thought article, pointing out the profoundly corrupt system of western political patronage, dressed up in a legal framework and legitimized. A plethora of euphemisms have been invented to make it seem thoroughly harmless.

I have had countless debates on this subject matter in London, but it’s almost impossible for any citizen from Britain, France, US of A to see their governments (Center left or right) as being corrupt and helping to widen the schism between the rich and poor.
