Once the mega-storm of COVID-19 subsides, researchers and scientists can perhaps get back to addressing some of the other diseases that are plaguing humanity — one of which is Cancer. It is still by far the biggest killer for the global population in high-income countries, and despite the best efforts, an effective treatment or virus still eludes us. You might hear about a lot of alternative therapies and treatments, but none make it to mainstream medicine.

I have written about numerous cancer treatments previously — from a breakthrough in Cancer Immunotherapy to various nanoparticles to something as simple as discovering cancer-killing ‘miyabeacin’ in the Willow tree. We keep hearing of a growing number of promising cancer treatments being tested, but none so far has reached the stage where one of them can be used in the real world. Maybe the one we are going to discuss today would be the one.
