The web of Big tech's influence gets even more intricate as they launch new services to cater to market segments beyond their initial niches. The big techs move to financial services has been the most talked-about recently, where they have also come under increasing regulatory scrutiny — a recent report from The Financial Stability Board in the U.S called for “vigilant monitoring." Nevertheless, it hasn’t stopped them from creating a paradigm shift.

AWS launches Amazon Braket service

Beware IBM & Google! There is another competitor for you in the battle for quantum supremacy. The e-commerce giant is in the game too, with the unveiling of a cloud-based quantum computing service called Amazon Braket. Although a limited-service by the other two’s standards, it is a significant step in the quantum space.
