The Internet is full of different sources where you can plenty of information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, but it is hard to know which of them are authentic. Internationally, the best-known source of information on health matters is the World Health Organization (WHO). The global organization works to promote health and keep the world safe.

As the world faces increasing lockdown due to the pandemic, WHO is at the forefront of battling the coronavirus. And the distribution of correct information is of paramount importance. Having access to data empowers us to make informed decisions, which can eventually lead to tackling challenges like the momentous one we are facing right now.

This is why WHO is building MiPasa — a blockchain-based platform built on top of IBM’s Hyperledger Fabric with Oracle, enterprise blockchain platform Hacera and software giant being the other partners. MiPasa will bring together health professionals, privacy experts, and software developers, backed by leading technology companies and commercial entities.
