Subhadra was the sister of Shri Krishna. Balarama wanted Subhadra to be married in the Kaurava clan. Due to the persistence of Balarama, Shri Krishna got Subhadra killed by Arjuna. Later Arjuna’s marriage with Subhadra in Dwarka was justified. After marriage, he stayed in Dwarka for one year and spent the rest of the time in Pushkar region. On completion of 12 years, he returned to Indraprastha with Subhadra. When Subhadra met Draupadi in Indraprastha, she did not immediately tell about her marriage to Arjuna. But when they got together, Subhadra told the truth and Draupadi accepted it.

Similarly, Arjuna also loved Chitrangada, the princess of Manipur. When Arjuna visited King Chitravahana’s kingdom in Manipur, he saw Chitrangada on the banks of the Kaveri. She was very beautiful, Arjun fell in love with her. When he asked for his hand from King Chitravahana, he placed a condition that his son should be brought to Manipur and he would have to take over the kingdom of Manipur. Arjun agreed. When Arjuna’s son Babruvahana was born, Arjuna left his wife and son to go to Indraprastha to his brothers. Babruvahana became the king of Manipur after the death of Chitravahana. It is said that after the war of Mahabharata, Babruvahana defeated his father Arjuna in battle.

Similarly, Arjun also married Nag Kanya Ulupi. When Ulupi falls in love with Arjun, he kidnaps Arjun. He later persuaded Arjuna to join him, who was bound by the laws of celibacy and could not relate to any other woman due to his relationship with Draupadi. In the end, he gave Arjuna a boon that nothing could harm him in water. Thanks for Visiting. Click here for more Love Hindi Shayari. Also, read many more here
