Feedback is the backbone of our growth and success at Technogise. The more we share constructive feedback with each other, the better we grow and the more we succeed.

This is why we strive to build a culture where sharing feedback is as valuable and routine as crafting world class code.

And while we’ve established some great feedback practices which help build this culture, it’s always useful to evolve some new ways of propagating it further… 🙂

Feedback training: All Technogisers underwent a series of trainings on how to share and receive helpful feedback. The training program was impeccably designed and conducted by seasoned leadership coach and fellow Technogiser Chaitanya Nadkarny. Under his guidance, all of us became better at the art of sharing and receiving feedback.

Surprise reward: Our people team kept track of all the feedbacks that Technogisers had given and received over the last quarter, and the ones who had given and received the most feedbacks, received a surprise gift voucher. It was a token of appreciation that was well deserved, and very happily received… 🙂

Round robin feedbacks: One of our project teams started a quarterly ritual of sharing round-robin performance feedbacks with each other. They considered it to be their core responsibility, just like conducting any other agile ritual.

What this meant was that any one individual received multiple feedbacks from all their teammates & stakeholders throughout the year (at least one per person per quarter).

The result? A crystal clear view of how any individual has grown in the eyes of their team through different stages of the year; how an individual acted upon a suggested improvement so that it no longer was a gap by the next quarter.

What better indicator of growth?… 🙂

Fun Memes:

Recently, we created some fun memes around feedback, and shared these weekly in our communication channels. Just healthy & hilarious reminders, these memes were enjoyed so much that people would look forward to the next meme even if they’d shared feedback already… 😄

Have a look at some of them:
