In 2016, Apple introduced the controversial Touch Bar. However, according to the latest predictions of well-known analysts Ming-Chi Kuo and Mark Gurman, this may change in the 2021 14/16-inch MacBook Pro models.
They pointed out in a research report of Tianfeng International Securities that the Touch Bar will be replaced by a row of physical function keys, consistent with the previous generation of MacBook Pro/MacBook Air models.
Mark Gurman also mentioned this in a report published by Bloomberg, saying that Apple has launched a test on the new MacBook Pro model with the Touch Bar removed.
