7 Mac Apps I am using (and loving) the most in 2023
Without a doubt, my MacBook is the centre of my digital workstation. It’s where most of my learning and working happens. From university exam preparation to making and publishing these posts to watching TV Shows and Movies. It’s all on the Mac.
But macOS isn’t all that cool to provide you with absolutely all the tools you wish for your productivity setup right out of the box when you buy a Mac. And so obviously, you need to have some apps to help you with it. For me, there are 7 apps that I have been using for the past few years, that I cannot imagine my life without. Here they are in the ascending order of my love for them:
1. TGPro: gives me a visual estimate of my Mac’s fan speeds and temperature readings of the CPU, battery, SSD and other such stuff. Most important of these for me is the ability to manually control the fan speed of the machine whenever I wish to.
Why would you need that, especially since macOS manages that pretty well, right? Umm, yeah but macOS mostly prefers the machine not shwoing off it’s fan speed or noise and decides to give them a spin only after a specified temperature threshold, which may or may not be as per your preferences. Also, sometimes it’s just better to keep your machine cool when you are using it in a hot room or during summer time. Especially, when you are also…
