When it comes to tools and libraries there are so many out there that it is hard to even keep track of names let alone their functionality.

In this article, I will share some of the most common tools/libraries used by startups with more than 50 million customers on a daily basis.

First of all, a little bit about me:

My name is Shubham and I am a Team Lead/ Senior Software Developer at PayPay. I have also worked at established companies like Amazon in the past so I have a fair bit of idea as to what tools are used in Startups vs Established Companies.

Alright, in the interest of time let’s get right into it.

Kibana Discover:

Kibana is one of the most popular tools out there to visualize and query Elasticsearch data. It has seamless integration with Elasticsearch and the ELK Stack as a whole, therefore it can be used to turn volumes of data into search-friendly, indexable, and visually helpful information in real-time. A typical example is the application logs used for debugging. It is one of the most frequently used tools in the day-to-day life of a software developer.
