Purpose of This Chapter

As a key enabler of artificial intelligence, cognitive computing, and subsets of AI, e.g., machine learning, deep learning, expert systems, and neural networks, Big Data solutions are critical business-focused domains at the global level.

Therefore, understanding the Big Data lifecycle and architecting Big Data solutions with pragmatic rigor is a compelling capability for AI professionals and AI business stakeholders.
