You Have 60,000+ Issues Slowing Down Your Computer
Truthful Statement or Ploy to Sell You Software?
Today, I was reminded by my Norton Antivirus software, I have 60,441 issues slowing down my PC. This is not the first time I have seen this warning from them. They tend to send me this reminder about once a week.
Every time I receive the warning, I ask myself the question whether any of this could be legitimate or not. Could I really be having that many issues with my computer? It doesn’t seem to be slowing down. I do follow best practices for keeping my computer secure, including the use of an Anti-virus package such as Norton 360. But I hadn’t noticed a great slowing of the processor or loading applications. Here are some of the features that Norton provides me, in addition to sending me messages that my computer is about to crash and burn.
