The LG V60 ThinQ 5G is a premium smartphone launched to compete with Samsung Galaxy S20. LG V60 uses a dual-screen case like LG V50 ThinQ and G8X ThinQ. It thereby adds a second display to the phone. LG has not yet announced the price and the date of launch of this new invention. However, it has given the assurance that V60 will be cost-effective than Galaxy S20. Galaxy S20 is currently available at $999 and £899, AU$1,499 for the 5G versions. The cost of the G8X was about $780 last year. Thus, V60 is anticipated to start around that price or slightly higher than that.

V50, the first phone of LG was launched with an initial price of $1,152. Since affordable phones are already available in the market, the successor of V50 is expected to be cheaper. V60 is the second 5G phone that LG will launch for the US. Apart from LG, other manufacturers are preparing to launch 5G devices in the market. But, now let us focus on the features and camera quality of LG V60 ThinQ 5G.

See What’s New in the Design of LG V60:

LG V60 has a bigger screen compared to its predecessor V50. Thus, you will enjoy a better viewing experience while streaming online content like YouTube videos. Moreover, the appearance is enhanced with rich and vibrant colours. The phone is large enough to be held by a small grip. So, if you have a small grip, then it might be tricky for you to handle the phone by one hand.

Moreover, you can use one display as a virtual game controller and customize the same as well. However, you can customize and perform multitasking on both the screens. Furthermore, you can expand the apps to use your phone display like a tablet. But, you won’t get a seamless viewing experience as the phone won’t allow you to operate videos and apps in the expanded view.

Apart from all these, you can use the removable phone case as a kickstand. Whether the case will be bundled with your phone depends upon the carrier from whom you are purchasing.

Camera Quality

Unlike recent smartphones, LG V60 has two rear cameras. More cameras might offer you more photo options. But, two cameras are more than sufficient for most smartphone users. You can even use the 64-megapixel standard camera for taking photos at full resolution. However, you can easily capture images at a 16-megapixel resolution as well. The phone uses a technique known as pixel binning for combining pixels of a sensor. As this resolution decreases, you will get better photos in low light conditions.

Selfie-stickers are one of the depth-sensing applications that you will get with LG V60. Besides this, you will get a third time-of-flight camera for AR. This phone will then offer a new 3D photo effect. The phone’s camera allows you to capture portrait pictures with a moving sense of depth. Still, this feature might seem a bit rough around the edges.

You can even zoom the camera up to 10X and capture 8K videos. In case you want to take selfies, then use the 10x-megapixel camera in the front. The remarkable feature is that the phone is good at integrating low light and white balance. Even the colours appear as accurate as they are in reality.

On the Whole…

Since the date of launch is still unknown to everyone, you have to be a little patient to experience this dual-screen trick. This is a unique feature that you won’t get in many smartphones. LG Electronics Inc. & LG Service Center said to make its business profitable by the end of 2021. Thus, we can hope to see LG V60 in the market. Wireless carriers will announce the pricing and availability of this smartphone model very soon.
