Stop Whining About Gun Violence & Do The Only Thing That Will Change Things
Here’s what you need to do in order to implement reasonable rules for responsible gun ownership

I’m a gun owner. If I lost my gun I would buy another gun. I support trained, licensed, registered, responsible gun ownership, but I oppose unlicensed, untrained, unregulated, irresponsible gun ownership.
I support the Israeli system of gun training, testing, licensing and ownership.
I’m sick of people complaining about gun massacres, violence, shootings and killings but being unwilling to do the one thing that will result in the enactment of common-sense rules for responsible gun ownership.
This poster says it all:
I created this poster and I posted it and several other related Boycott The Republican Party posters and logos on Flickr here:

I’m not a liberal. I’m not a Democrat. I’m not a progressive, but this “Everybody everywhere should be able to buy an unregistered military style semi-automatic weapon with a 50-shot magazine” is, I think, just plain nuts.
You don’t have to vote for a Democrat in November. Just refuse to vote for any Republican.
If enough people refuse to vote for any Republican candidates this November the Republican Party will get the message that it has more to lose from its policy of “All guns all the time for everyone” than it has to gain from it, and the GOP will cut it out OR it will lose so much political power that it won’t matter what the Republican Party wants anymore.
If you’re one of those people wringing your hands about all the innocent lives lost to gun violence, stop complaining and just decide that this November you won’t vote for any Republican candidates, OR stop complaining about mass shootings and just admit that the problem isn’t them.
It’s you.
