Hey great post and great piece of advice for anyone who wants to get into the startup game.

Most people think running a startup is easy, and I know some people raising VC money and enjoying their lives and once they are done with that money they just come up with new idea and move on with new rounds of funding.

Regarding your situation Mike Knapp leaving Google and coming up with something new was the most ‘googlish’ thing for you to do.

And even if your startup failed I’m sure it must have taught you some very valuable lessons.

As someone who tried to start something for myself what I was quick to pivot or completely delete my idea whenever I felt that it was not worth pursuing.

Or else I might try to launch an MVP and run couple of Facebook ads just see if there is genuine customer interest and if I don’t see any value then I will scrape that idea and move on.

Also it’s normal to lose interest whenever you run something for a very long time, having focused on something for the long run is a challenge itself.

I wish you all the success for the coming endeavours.
