Android Wear is now a taken over by ‘Wear OS’

Android Wear is now a taken over by ‘Wear OS’, which is finally launched by after much news over this week. Google as officially renamed the smart-watches in March 2018, which also claims that it is build with new features in it.

The new products tagline says “Make every minute count”. Also about Wear OS it says, “We’re announcing a new name that better reflects our technology, vision, and most important of all — the people who wear our watches. We’re now Wear OS by Google, a wearable’s operating system for everyone,” Google’s Dennis Tropper.

The name comes ahead of the annual Basel world watch show in Switzerland next week, with Wear OS head Dennis Troper also noting for the future that: We’re just scratching the surface of what’s possible with wearable and there’s even more exciting work ahead.
